Long story

“What happened here?”

“It’s a long story. It started with a brilliant design concept, and, after an arduous development process, the ultimate models appeared – sleek, beautiful, wonderful in their diversity and potential.”

“Then how did they end up like this?”

“It seems they had an undetectable system flaw – that’s one theory. Turns out they had their heads in the sand from the moment they stood upright. They had it made and they wrecked it. Let’s move on. This place always depresses me.”

“What happens now?”

“We leave the planet to recover and wait for the next batch to appear.”

    • I’m not sure who my speakers are exactly, but it’s nice to think that out there somewhere are beings with a little more wisdom than we seem to have at times. Thanks for commenting, Bjorn.

    • Whoever they are, they seem to have found the way to survive. I’m glad you found the link interesting – its ‘before and after’ pictures are disturbing, I thought. Thank you for remembering to leave a comment – much appreciated.
