Decor dilemmas
Don’t you see, it’s not right
Can’t you understand my plight?
I don’t want to fight,
but you can’t have it all your way.
We’ve got oak on the floors
We’ve got walnut for the doors,
teak and ash galore,
but on this I must have my say.
Maple trims are fine,
and I don’t mind pine –
for the tables and chairs it’s alright.
I gave you a free hand
when you claimed my tastes were bland;
but now I must take a stand,
and I won’t have a wooden light.
